JAMMU, Sept 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police today achieved a major success by arresting three hardcore criminals from Bathindi area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bahu Fort.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Majeed alias Babol, Mohammad Sameer, and Murad Ali alias Faji, all residents of Dak Banglow Maraliyan, Miran Sahib.
Police said the arrests were made in connection with FIR number 152/2025 under sections 331(6)/191(2)/191(3) /115(2) BNS and FIR number 19/2023 under Sections 365, 342, 382, 323, 506 IPC, both registered at Police Station Bahu Fort.
They said the weapons used in the commission of crime were also recovered during investigation.
Officials added that the arrest of these criminals is a big step towards curbing the activities of notorious elements in the area.
