Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust launches “Vedic Pathshala”

JAMMU, Sept 14: A weeklong “Vedic Pathshala” organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust was launched at “Sankat Mochan Panchmukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Bhawan”, here today.
The programme was inaugurated by Pawan Kumar Shastri, president Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust in presence of chief guest Naresh Sharma and Anuradha Sharma.
The initiative was aimed to promote the rich heritage of “Sanatan Dharma” among the younger generation and interested individuals.
During the session, 60 students, mostly Under-15, actively participated in the Vedic Pathshala.
They received comprehensive instructions on reciting “Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand path and besides above Dharma-Karma Gayan.
The students impressively recited verses in Sanskrit and then skillfully translated them into both English and Hindi.
Their ability to recite and translate Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa was particularly noteworthy, earning appreciation from all presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Shastri said, “This initiative not only preserves ancient wisdom but also fosters a sense of identity, community and spiritual growth among young minds, ensuring a vibrant cultural continuity for years to come.”
“The Trust aims to continue these classes to enlighten the younger generation about Sanatan Dharma’s rich heritage by imparting knowledge of ancient’s scriptures like Shree Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa, Ramayana and Veda and Upanishad,” he added.
Among others who were present during the event included Arun Shastri, Dr Ajay Shastri and Sukhdev Sharma.
