UDHAMPUR, Sept 7: Saksham J&K prant team organized its meeting in Udhampur district under the Chairmanship of National joint secretary Abhay Pargal.
The meeting, attended by senior functionaries and MLA Ramnagar Sunil Bhardwaj, discussed the framework of the December 14 programme regarding International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which will include cultural activities, awareness campaigns and active participation of divyang beneficiaries. Members assured full cooperation to make the event impactful.
On the occasion, Chanchla Rajput, Mahila Pramukh, was elevated as vice president of Saksham J&K by Abhay Pargal, National joint secretary, Saksham.
The meeting was attended by Abhay Pargal, Swami Vishwanathan (Uttar shetra sangathan mantri), RSS Udhampur vibhag pracharak Avinash, Dr B D Sharma (patron, Saksham J&K), MLA Sunil Bhardwaj, along with Pawan Singh, Sunil, O D Atri, Sardari Lal and Prem Pal Singh.
The gathering also discussed future strategies for the upliftment, empowerment, and inclusion of Divyangjan in J&K, resolving to work collectively for better opportunities, accessibility and dignity for persons with disabilities.
