JAMMU, Sept 7: Wellness Zone Headmasters (Skin and Hair Clinic) today extended relief to students of SKUAST-Jammu who were among the worst hit by the flash flood that struck the University on August 26, 2025.
As part of the initiative, Ashu Goel, Kumud Goel and Naresh Singh distributed mattresses, blankets and bed sheets to 60 students at a program held on the University campus. The distribution was carried out in the presence of Dr Anil Kumar, Registrar, SKUAST-Jammu & Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr Sudhakar Dwivedi, Dean Students Welfare.
University authorities underlined that such interventions provide immediate assistance while also helping students manage the impact of the natural calamity.
Students who received the relief material said the support would ease their difficulties and enable them to resume daily routines with greater stability after the disaster.
The University administration meanwhile continues to mobilize resources and coordinate efforts aimed at restoring normalcy and safeguarding the welfare of students and staff in the aftermath of the flood.
