JAMMU, Sept 6: President of J&K BJP Minority Morcha, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, played a central role at the ‘Wakefulness Night’ organized in Gandhi Nagar, where over 2,000 people from across the Union Territory gathered to celebrate peace, faith and communal harmony. His presence and address set the tone for an evening dedicated to spiritual unity and brotherhood.
Renowned journalist and entrepreneur Boney Kumar added intellectual depth as guest of honour, while the event reached its peak with a moving performance by world-famous Gospel singer Stephen Munir, whose powerful voice and message of hope left the audience spellbound.
The programme was organized by Pastor Dr Zion Richard, Senior Pastor of The Church of Prayers and Wonders. Leading prayers and blessings for all participants, Pastor Zion offered special prayers for Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, seeking divine favour and double growth in his family life and political career.
In his address, Nalwa spoke passionately about the values of love and peace as taught by Lord Jesus Christ. He underscored the importance of unity across diverse faiths and cultures and reiterated his commitment-along with that of BJP Minority Morcha-to back faith-based gatherings that nurture spirituality, peace and brotherhood across J&K.
The evening was marked by the participation of numerous Christian political leaders and spiritual heads from different regions of the UT, underscoring the spirit of interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
The success of ‘Wakefulness Night’ not only reinforced the value of such faith-driven initiatives but also highlighted Ranjodh Singh Nalwa’s active role in encouraging communal harmony, spiritual awareness, and social inclusiveness in the region.
