JAMMU, Sept 6: Samvedna Society, under the chairmanship of Keshav Chopra, organized its 100th free eye screening and skin check-up camp today for the flood-affected residents of Goswami Colony, Jammu.
The camp was held in collaboration with Government Medical College and SMGS Hospital Jammu, and inaugurated by MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi along with president of Sanatan Dharma Sabha J&K, Parshotam Dadhichi. More than 103 patients received free consultation and medicines for eye and skin-related problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said that social organizations like Samvedna Society play a crucial role in supporting displaced families, while Parshotam Dadhichi described the initiative as an embodiment of service and compassion.
The camp was attended by Sanjay Gupta (general secretary, Sanatan Dharma Sabha J&K), Dr Riya Sharma (Registrar), Dr Bhavya Jad (Registrar), Dr Sushil (Skin), Dr Rahul Sharma (PG), Dr Suhaib Bin Yaqoob (PG), Anil Kumar (Chief Refractionist), Sumit Saharan (president, Sewa Samiti J&K) and Aman Sharma (vice president, Sewa Samiti J&K).
