JAMMU, Sept 6: The Hindu Sangharsh Samiti (HSS) today announced the formation of its new body for Jammu and Kashmir unit. This was announced by HSS’s national general secretary, Anoop Pandey in a press conference held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Pandey announced Vivek Gupta as the new president and Aditya Gupta as the spokesperson of HSS.
He congratulated Vivek Gupta and Aditya Gupta on their new roles and said that the organizational structure in Jammu & Kashmir would soon be strengthened to intensify the struggle for Hindu interests.
Expressing grave concern over what he termed a “long and unbroken chain of atrocities against Hindus,” Pandey said that incidents ranging from the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in India, the ethnic genocide of Tamil Hindus in Sri Lanka and the persecution of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh are part of a “structural genocide and cultural destruction process aimed at erasing Hindu identity.”
“Hinduism represents a civilizational identity that transcends geographical boundaries, any attack on Hindus anywhere in the world is an attack on India itself,” he said.
