Inner Wheel Club provides relief material to flood-affected families

JAMMU, Aug 27: Inner Wheel Club Jammu New Gen, District 307, today distributed essential items to over 300 men, women and children affected by the recent floods in Jammu. The club’s relief efforts aimed to provide comfort and alleviate stress and anxiety among the displaced families.
The club donated a range of items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, biscuits, bread and other essentials. Additionally, mattresses, sheets and blankets were provided to ensure the families’ comfort during the rainy nights.
The relief program was conducted at Govt Boys High School Satwari, where some of the affected families have been relocated. The club spent Rs 16,500 on the initiative.
“We are proud to have been able to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the floods,” said Manpree Kour President of the club while Ritu Sharma Secretary- Anita Goel ISO and Ambika Samnotra Ex- president of Inner Wheel Club Jammu New Gen said, “Our club is committed to serving the community and providing support in times of need.”
