POONCH, Aug 11: The 141st Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), stationed in Khanetar area, near the Line of Control (LOC) to safeguard the nation’s borders, organized a blood donation camp as a part of its social service initiatives.
The event was held in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital, Poonch.
A large number of BSF personnel and officers participated in the camp, which was presided over by Commandant DN Singh of the 141st Battalion.
More than 50 jawans and officers donated blood, promoting the message that “blood donation is the greatest donation.”
Officials noted that the donated blood will play a vital role in saving the lives of many people in Poonch district.
