Warm farewell accorded to retiring employees

JAMMU, July 31: On attaining the age of superannuation, many government employees today retired from their job and were accorded warm farewell by their departments.
The officers and staff of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, Jammu, bid a warm farewell to Arvinder Singh Reen, Director Agriculture Jammu, who superannuated today after rendering over 39 years of service to the Department. A function was organized at the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu in this regard where Joint Directors, Chief Agriculture Officers of Jammu Division and others extended best wishes to the retiring officer. Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah and staff of Directorate of Kashmir also attended the function through video conferencing. Additional Mission Director HADP/Joint Director Extension, Satish Sharma and others wished a healthy and happy post-retirement life to A.S Reen.
The Sericulture Development Department, J&K under the chairmanship of Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Director Sericulture J&K today organized a farewell function to accord a warm send-off to Ashraf Ali Banday, Project Executive Officer, who attained superannuation after rendering decades of service to the Department. The function was attended by senior officers and officials from various wings of the Department. As a mark of appreciation, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat presented a memento to Ashraf Ali Banday on behalf of the Department. The event concluded with warm wishes and prayers for the retiring official.
Directorate of Health Services Jammu accorded a warm send off to Yashdev Singh Jasrotia, Senior Assistant, Veena Kumari (BHW) and Anil Gupta (Driver) on their superannuation. On this occasion, Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar and others wished all the retiring employees a healthy and happy post-retirement life. Deputy Director Dentistry, Dr. Sanjay Sharma and Chief Medical Officer Jammu, Dr. Harbaksh Singh lauded the dedication of the retiring officials towards their work.
