JAMMU, July 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has urged the Government to address the genuine issues of PDD daily wagers, besides casual, need based, consolidated workers and other temporary employees in different departments on priority. Congress also sought enhancing the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and helpers.
In a statement JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has asked the Govt to address the genuine demands of regular wages and regularization of daily wagers, casual workers, need based workers in various departments and also address the issues of different categories of temporary employees including contractual, adhoc and consolidated employees.
Sharma, an Ex-MLC has extended support to the genuine cause of these categories of employees/workers engaged for years and sought regularization policy for all categories of such people.
He also sought enhancement of honorarium of Anganwadi workers and helpers, Asha workers and such other categories of the workers.
