JAMMU, July 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has promoted Zahid Aziz Samoon, Deputy Superintendent of Police, to the rank of Superintendent of Police.
As per a Government order, the promotion of the officer is effective notionally from June 5, 2024 and on regular basis with immediate effect.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of Zahid Aziz Samoon, DySP PID as Superintendent of Police-Level-11 of pay matrix, notionally with effect from June 5, 2024 and on regular basis with immediate effect,” read an order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department.
