JAMMU, July 3: ARC Hospitality Institute, based in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, announced successful completion of its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir through skill development in the hospitality sector.
This pioneering project was sponsored by The Radisson Hotel Group, conducted in collaboration with Job Plus India and Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC), Delhi. As part of this CSR initiative, 47 young individuals from across J&K were selected and trained free of cost in various aspects of hotel operations and hospitality services. “This initiative is not just about skill development; it’s about creating sustainable livelihoods and inspiring hope,” said the directors of ARC Hospitality Institute, Chitwan Khorana & Gurmehar Sethi.
“We are deeply grateful to our partners-Radisson Hotel Group, Job Plus India and THSC-for sharing this vision and helping us deliver on our promise.” The training, conducted at ARC Hospitality Institute’s state-of-the-art campus in Gandhi Nagar, was designed to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in line with industry standards.
“This is just the beginning,” added the institute directors. “We are committed to launching more CSR projects in the near future to empower youth of J&K and promote hospitality industry as a vital career avenue in our state.” For further information or to learn how to get involved in future CSR initiatives can contact 9320688804.
