SAMBA, June 29: A mock drill was conducted at the Railway Station Bari Brahmana this evening to test the coordination and readiness of various security and emergency response teams.
The exercise began at around 5 PM and concluded by 5:45 PM.
A statement said it was held under the supervision of SDPO Railway Jammu and witnessed active participation from several agencies, including SDPO Bari Brahmana Pardeep Singh Sen, SHO PSGRP Jammu Niyaz, SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Rajeshwar Salathia, Inspector Mithilesh Sharma, GRP Bari Brahmana Inspector Subash Singh, and personnel from the GRP Lines.
Specialised units like the Bomb Squad, Dog Squad, 157 TA Bari Brahmana, 08 Dogra Unit, ITBP 50th Battalion, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Services, and other security agencies also took part in the drill.
A police official said the purpose of the mock exercise was to assess the preparedness and coordination between different agencies in the event of a crisis.
The drill concluded peacefully without any untoward incident.
