JAMMU, June 29: Issuing two separate orders, Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered transfers and postings of 49 doctors with immediate effect.
According to first order, Dr Narinder Singh Bhatali, who was awaiting orders of adjustment, has been appointed as In-Charge Deputy Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar. He will also hold the additional charge of Medical Superintendent of the same hospital.
Dr Balwinder Singh, previously serving as I/c Deputy Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, has been posted as I/c BMO R S Pura while Dr Mohd Ajaz, Medical Officer at PHC Budhal, has been transferred and posted as I/c BMO Mahore. Dr Versha Sharma, formerly I/c BMO Thathri, will now serve as I/c BMO Bhaderwah whereas Dr Rajneesh Kumar will continue in his current role as I/c BMO Pouni.

Dr Mohammad Ashraf Kuchay has been moved from I/c BMO Bhaderwah to I/c BMO Pouni. Dr Abdul Qayoom, Medical Officer, DH Samba, has been posted as I/c BMO Parole and Dr Vivek Mangotra, earlier I/c BMO Parole, is now I/c BMO Purmandal.
Dr Sudesh Tanoch, Medical Officer PHC Hartyan (Udhampur) has been posted as I/c DHO Udhampur, Dr Mohd Azam (MO DH Poonch) has been posted as I/c DHO Poonch, Dr Raj Kumar (I/c BMO Purmandal) as I/c DHO Doda, Dr Ruby Naz (MO, NTPHC Bamyal) as I/c Deputy CMO Poonch and Dr Monika Kotwal (I/c BMO RS Pura) will take charge as I/C Dy CMO Samba.
Meanwhile, Dr Kewal Kishore Thakur (on deputation to GMC Doda), has been deputed to JKMSCL on standard terms and conditions of deputation while Dr Romesh Chander (MD Anatomy) has been deputed to GMC Doda. Dr Shakeel Ahmad Kichloo, Dental Surgeon, has been directed to temporarily look after the charge of BMO Thathri till suitable arrangements are made.
According to another order, Dr Nighat Yasmeen Sheikh (I/c MS DH Ganderbal) has been posted as I/c Deputy Director Health Services (HQ) Kashmir while Dr Saba Wani (I/c Assistant Director, TB, DHSK) has been appointed as I/c Deputy Director Health Services Kashmir.
Dr Afsana Bano has been posted as I/c Assistant Director (TB) DHSK and Dr Kulsum Hassan Kanjwal (MO, PHC Rahmoo, Pulwama) as I/c Assistant Director DHSK and Dr Mohd Ramzan Mir (I/c CMO Kupwara) has been posted as I/c Assistant Director, Directorate of Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization. He will take over the charge on June 30, 2025 after retirement of present incumbent.
Dr Ab Gani Raina (I/c MS DH Kulgam) has been posted as I/c CMO Baramulla, Dr Masarat Iqbal (I/c MS DH Bandipora) as I/c CMO Kupwara, Dr Hashmat Sultan Shora as I/c SSO, DHSK, relieving Dr Samina Gul of the additional charge and Dr Farah Shafi (I/c BMO Hazratbal) has been posted as I/c MS Ganderbal.
Dr Syed Masood (I/c DIO Anantnag) has been posted as I/c MS DH Kulgam, Dr Adil Hussain Kango (MO) as I/c MS Bone & Joint Hospital, Barzulla, Srinagar, while Dr Asif Ali Khanday (MO SDH Chadoora) will now serve as I/c MS DH Bandipora. Dr Abdul Majeed Bhat (MO DH Budgam) has been posted as I/c BMO Hazratbal, Dr Reyaz Ahmad Rather (MO, Block Khansahib) as I/c BMO Chadoora, Dr Ashaq Hussain Azad Bhat (MO Block Kulgam) as I/c BMO DH Pora, Dr Nazir Ahmad Bhat (I/c BMO Kalaroos) has been moved to I/c BMO Langate and Dr Mohammad Hafiz Khan (I/c BMO Langate) has been posted as I/c BMO Kalaroos.
Dr Basra Mir (MO STDC) has been appointed I/c STO Kashmir, Dr Akhtera (MO, Block Shangus) as I/c DHO Anantnag and Dr Zahoor Ahmad (MO, SDH Kokernag) as I/c DIO Shopian. Additionally, Dr Mir Khursheed (MO, DTC Pulwama) has been posted as I/c Principal GNM School Pulwama and Dr Aftaab Masood (I/c Principal GNM School Pulwama) as I/c Principal, ANMT School, Kulgam.
Dr Riyaz Ahmad Parray, I/c BMO DH Pora, has been assigned post of I/c Principal ANMT School Shopian. Dr Imtiyaz Darwash, Medical Officer awaiting orders of posting, has been appointed I/c Dy MS Super Speciality Hospital, Srinagar. Dr Suhaila Sheikh from PHC Sambora (Pulwama) is now I/c Dy MS Children Hospital Bemina.
Dr Khursheed Ahmad Khan, Medical Officer on deputation to the State Health Agency, has been posted as I/c Dy CMO Pulwama. Dr Lubna Shafi, Medical Officer awaiting posting, is now I/c Dy MS Maternity Hospital Sanatnagar, Srinagar. Dr Rehana Maqsood from PHC Konibal Pampore has been posted as I/c Dy MS Government Chest Disease Hospital, Srinagar. Dr Bisma Khan, Medical Officer awaiting posting, has been deputed to NHM on standard terms and conditions.
Dr Shahida Habib from PHC Lajora (Pulwama) has been deputed to JKMSCL on standard deputation terms. Dr Rukhsana Rashid Khan, awaiting posting, has been deputed to the AIDS Control Society, J&K. Dr Qazi Haroon Rashid (MO), also awaiting orders of posting, has been deputed to JKMSCL. Dr Mir Mohammad Iqbal (MO, SDH Kupwara) has been deputed to NHM on standard terms and conditions.
