KATHUA, June 29: Police in Billawar area here claimed today they have arrested one person with illicit liquor.
Pawan Kumar of Seri, tehsil Billawar, was arrested with the 52 quarters of JK Special Whisky during routine checking by a team of Police Station Billawar led by SHO concerned, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq, a police official said.
Accordingly, he said, the accused was booked in case FIR number 104/2025 under section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Kathua and further investigation taken up.
