Srinagar, July 11: Five persons were injured in two separate road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Maruti car JK01L/0822 hit a parked truck JK02F/2169 at Barsoo in Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two passengers, Ghulam Qadir Malik of Shereen Bagh Srinagar and Bilal Ahmad Shah of Firdous Colony Bemina. Both the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital, Pampore.
A motorcycle JK15/1160 skidded off the road near Kunzer Bridge, Baramulla resulting in injuries to three persons, including the motorcyclist Zubair Ahmed Beigh son of Mehraj-ud-Din of Kralweth. All the injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
