KARGIL, June 27: On 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, officers of Indian Army visited the homes of brave soldiers who were martyred in the Kargil War.
Army soldiers informed the family members of the martyrs and other citizens about the unmatched courage and supreme sacrifice made by fallen heroes of India.
The Army also presented commemorative mementos to the families of martyrs expressing their heartfelt emotions.
In a handout the Army stated that families of our brave martyrs are not alone as the entire Indian Army stands firmly with them always.
Indian Army officers visited the home of Havaldar Tsewang Ringzin, recipient of Vir Chakra, in the Shagar Yokma Zanskar region of Kargil and honoured his family with a commemorative token of respect.
Sub Sushil Kumar and his team shared stories of valour from the Kargil War with the martyr’s family.
