JAMMU, June 18: In a significant step towards empowering youth and enhancing employment opportunities, Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with Desh Bhagat University, Punjab, is organizing a Mega Job Fair 2025 on 23rd June at the GCW Gandhi Nagar Campus.
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, will be chief guest on the occasion while Shantmanu, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, J&K Govt, will also grace the occasion and interact with representatives of various participating companies, underscoring the Government’s commitment to creating robust employment avenues for the youth of the region.
Sharing this information during a press conference, here today, Prof K S Chandraseker, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, emphasized the University’s commitment to inculcate skill development and career growth among students.
“The Mega Job Fair 2025 will bring together a wide array of almost 50 reputed companies and organizations from across the country, offering about 4000 vacancies in technical, non-technical, and service sectors,” he said, adding that the event is expected to benefit job seekers, particularly students and recent graduates, by connecting them directly with potential employers.
Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University, highlighted the collaborative vision to create real-world opportunities for youth across northern India. “This Mega Job Fair stands as a testimony to the collective efforts of academic institutions in fostering employment, innovation and national growth,” he added.
Prof D S Manhas, Director, Placement Cell, Cluster University of Jammu, informed that extensive arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the fair and to facilitate meaningful interactions between recruiters and candidates.
The Job Fair will commence at 9:00 AM on 23rd June 2025, and remain open to students, graduates and job seekers from all institutions.
