SAMBA, June 4: Seven dumpers were seized for illegal mining in Samba district today, officials said.
They said the vehicles were seized during a drive launched against the menace of illegal mining in the jurisdictions of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal by teams of police officers headed by in-charges of Police Posts Supwal, Rakh Amb Talli, Mansar and Rajpura under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Virinder Manhas.
Post seizure, the vehicles were handed over to Geology and Mining Department Samba for further legal action, officials said.
