JAMMU, May 28: In a continued effort to promote student well-being and preventive healthcare, Hermann Gmeiner School Jammu, in collaboration with the office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Jammu, organized its annual health check-up camp today.
The camp witnessed active participation from a dedicated medical team that provided a range of health services including general medical check-ups, ENT, dental and vision screenings for students.
The medical team comprised Dr Mridula Singh, Dr Anuj Khajuria (ENT), Dr Harjinder Singh, Dr Nikhil Singh Jamwal (RBSK), Dr Isha Mahajan (Dental Surgeon), Dr Shivangi Kotwal and Dr Neha Gupta. Supporting them were Sanjay Choudhary, Senior Pharmacist; Rahul Kumar and Tarun Sharma, Pharmacists; Kavita Gupta, Community Health Officer; Bimla Sharma, Lady Health Visitor; and Jyoti, Ophthalmic Technician.
Principal Shakun Choudhary underscored the importance of such health initiatives in ensuring the holistic development of students. Headmaster Ashok Raina also attended the event, which was smoothly coordinated by Nidhi Chaudhary and Sangeeta Dhar.
The camp not only offered timely medical attention but also raised awareness about the value of regular health monitoring among students, reinforcing the School’s commitment to their overall physical and mental well-being.
