SAMBA, May 18: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized seven vehicles including four dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Samba and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Ramgarh and in charges of Police Posts (PP) Rakh Amb Talli and Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven vehicles including four dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21E-9535, JK02DC-4809, HP73A-7023, HP73A-6023 and two tractor trolleys bearing registration Numbers JK21D-3815, JK21H-7908 and one tractor trolley without number which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Virinder Manhas and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
