JAMMU, May 8: Vijay Kumar Bhagotra, Honorary Secretary of Vridh Ashram Ambphalla, has stepped down from his position on health grounds after serving the Ashram with dedication and sincerity for many years.
To mark his contribution, the Ashram management, inmates, and like-minded well-wishers held a small but heartfelt function in his honour.
Bhagotra was presented with a bouquet, shawl, memento, and citation as a token of appreciation for his selfless service.
Speakers at the event praised his tireless efforts and his commitment to running the Ashram with devotion and compassion for the elderly, especially those who are destitute or without family support.
The function was attended by several prominent individuals including KB Jandyal, Prem Gupta, SC Rekhi, SK Jain, ID Soni, HS Manhas, Vijay Gupta, Pankaj Gupta, RC Vaid, Dinesh Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, and members of Bhagotra’s family.
