JKHDCA offers free medical treatment to Pahalgam attack affected tourists

JAMMU, Apr 22: In the wake of the terror attack in Pahalgam that has left the region in mourning, the J&K Hospitals and Dialysis Centres Association (JKHDCA) has announced free medical treatment to all tourists affected by the incident.
Deeply saddened by the recent events, the Association emphasized its commitment to standing in solidarity with the affected individuals. As part of this initiative, hospitals and dialysis centres affiliated with the Association will extend comprehensive medical services at no cost, including emergency care, surgeries, and other necessary treatments.
“In this hour of grief, we are committed to providing medical support to the tourists who were affected by the incident,” said Sandeep Mengi, president of the J&K Hospitals and Dialysis Centres Association. He added that this gesture is one of solidarity and humanity, reflecting the region’s enduring spirit and commitment to compassionate care.
The Association has also appealed to the public to remain calm and cooperate with the authorities as efforts continue to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors. “We stand united in this hour of grief,” Mengi added. “Our focus remains firmly on providing unwavering medical support to those in need.”
