Tourism Federation honours Rajesh Gupta, deliberates over pilgrimage tourism events

JAMMU, Apr 10: Tourism Federation of Jammu today organised a function to honour its Chairman Rajesh Gupta who has been recently elevated as president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s J&K and Ladakh units.
The event was organised by the vice president of Tourism Federation Jammu, Abhay Bakaya and was attended by all office bearers of the Federation, who came together to celebrate this significant achievement.
The meeting deliberated healthy discussions over pilgrimage tourism and upcoming pilgrimage events at Jammu including Shobha Yatra on Hanuman Janmotsav on April 12 from VHP Headquarters at Shakti Ashram, Old Rehari, Jammu, Tawi Arti by Tourism Federation’s affiliate Shri Raghunath Ji Corridor Vikas Council at Tawi River Front (Ware House side) on Baisakhi, the 13th April which will be attended by Lt. Governor J&K Manoj Sinha.
These events are expected to attract a large audience and will be a significant cultural and spiritual highlight for the region. Discussions included role of Tourism Federation in organising these events.
Furthermore, the team deliberated on the preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji yatra, Budha Amarnathji yatra and Shri Mata Kheer Bhawani yatra emphasizing the need for enhanced infrastructure and services to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage experience for devotees.
Rajesh Gupta opined that Tawi Arti at riverfront and Shri Amarnathji yatra are pivotal events that will not only enrich the spiritual landscape of Jammu region but also contribute significantly to the local economy.
The Tourism Federation Jammu remains committed to supporting initiatives that boost tourism and cultural activities in the region, aligning with the broader goals of promoting Jammu as a major tourist destination.
