JAMMU, Mar 5: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) Jammu, successfully hosted the Business Tech Conclave – Manthan 2K25, a platform for students to showcase their talents. Held on the college campus, the event drew enthusiastic participation from numerous institutions.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with traditional lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana. Dr Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IMS, welcomed the chief guest Annil Suri, president and CEO of AB Consultants, Vidhi S Jamwal — Chairman Jamwal group, Renu Bangroo — Managing Director, Jamwal Group, Vice Chairman, Shivdev S Jamwal and other dignitaries.
She outlined various contests and competitions that were to be held during the day and wished luck to the participating students. Vidhi S Jamwal, encouraged students to hone their skills through such events. He advised the students to channelize their energies in the positive way to become good citizens of the world.
In his address, Annil Suri said that such events provide a great platform to the students of this region to showcase and enhance their talent and skills. The ceremony also featured the release of Reflection’ 25, the IMS College annual newsletter.
In the prize distribution ceremony in the afternoon session, special guests Nakul Khanna, Cluster Head and Lakshmi Badiar, Relationship Manager, both from Nippon Mutual Fund, delivered inspiring speeches.
With 156 participants from 14 colleges, including SPMR College of Commerce, MAM College, and others, the conclave was a resounding success. This year’s event competitions like Product Launch, Quiz, Code-a-Thon, Just a Minute, and Blindfold Games fostered creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. Prof JR Dhotra delivered concluding remarks, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in developing future leaders.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Divya Jamwal.
