JAMMU, Feb 25: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) president and former Chief Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah appointed Tejinder Pal Singh Aman as the Provincial president Jammu Province of JKNC Youth Wing in a programme held at party office here today.
Tejinder Pal has assumed the chair in presence of Dr Farooq Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra former Minister, Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial president JKNC Jammu; Ajaz Jan MLA, Altaf Kaloo MLA and other senior party leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Farooq emphasized the vital role of youth in shaping the future of Jammu & Kashmir. He said, “The youth are the backbone of our party and the driving force behind a progressive and peaceful J&K. I am confident that Tejinder Pal Singh Aman will uphold the values of the National Conference and work towards empowering young voices in the region.”
Farooq appreciated the role of Ajaz Jan MLA to mobilize the youth in Jammu region now his engagements in the constituency may not be able to work in Jammu Province for the youth as such Tejinder Singh who is District president Jammu Urban YNC is elevated as Provincial president Jammu Province YNC. It is hoped that he will deliver the services for the interest of the youth and mobilize at grass roots level.
Surinder Choudhary, Ajay Sadhotra and Rattan Lal Gupta, congratulating Aman on his new role, stated, “JKNC has always believed in giving young and dynamic leaders a platform to serve the people,” they added.
MLA Ajaz Jan also extended his best wishes, remarking, “The Youth Wing of JKNC plays a crucial role in mobilizing the younger generation towards constructive political participation. Tejinder Pal’s dedication and experience make him the right choice to lead this important responsibility.”
After assuming charge, Tejinder Pal expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for reposing faith in him. He assured that he would work tirelessly to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and engage the youth in meaningful political and developmental activities.
