RAJOURI, Feb 9: Two youth were killed while another got injured in a road accident on late Sunday evening, in Gujjar Mandi area of Rajouri town.
Giving details a police official said that there was a head-on collision between two motor-cycles near Gujjar Mandi, behind the DC office at around 8.15 pm. First two bikes collided with each other and then one of the bikes was hit by a car coming from the front.
In this horrific road accident, 3 youths riding on both the motorbikes got seriously injured, who were shifted to GMC Rajouri by the local people with the help of police.
According to the doctor treating them at GMC, Zulfkar Younis (22) son of Mohammad Younis, resident of Thandapani, Panjgarian and Asad (23), son of Mohammad Zubair, resident Darhal, who were brought to GMC, died during treatment while Wajid Hussain (20), son of Mohammad Rafiq, resident of Manjakote and at present Khewra, Rajouri is undergoing treatment.
Some people passing by the spot said that both the bikes were moving at a very high speed and the collision was so severe that they were blown to pieces. Police has taken cognizance of the matter and informed the families of both the deceased and after conducting the post-mortem on Monday morning, the bodies will be handed over to the families.
