JAMMU, Feb 8: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit chief, Manish Sahni here today met Bhim Sen Tuti, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and expressed serious concern over the increasing criminal activities, cow and drug smuggling in Jammu and submitted a memorandum in this regard to the ADGP.
Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni said that there is an atmosphere of terror in Jammu due to increasing criminal incidents.
“Urgent and strong measures are required to restore the public confidence and to ensure the safety of citizens,” he maintained adding that strengthening of the surveillance network in Jammu and adjoining areas, increase in Police patrolling, vigilance, quick and transparent investigation, verification of outsiders and community policing should be enhanced.
He offered volunteer help to the Police.
