KATHUA, Feb 4: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kathua, Dr Bharat Bhushan today handed over appointment orders to Education Department Aayas/Helpers.
The Vice-Chairman of District Development Council Kathua, Raghunandan Singh; Chief Education Officer Kathua, Mangat Ram Sharma; Principal Government Higher Secondary School Boys Kathua (holding Zonal Education Officer Kathua’s charge) Tara Chand; Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kathua Mangal Singh; officials of the Department, staff members of HSS Girls Kathua and Aayas were present on the occasion.
CEO Kathua apprised that 26 Aayas/Education Helpers have been appointed as per standing guidelines in a transparent manner.
MLA Kathua in his address appreciated the Education Department for appointing educated girls and exhorted newly appointed Aayas to work with dedication and help in improving the enrolment in their respective schools.
Former councillor of Kathua Municipal Council Anirudh Sharma, Youth leaders Amit Sudan and Bhanu Partap Singh were also present on the occasion.
