JAMMU, Jan 18: Latest artworks by renowned painter, Suman Gupta are being showcased in a group exhibition ‘Timeless Currents: Contemporary Narratives in Indian Art’ presented by Gallerie Nvya at General Aviation Terminal, IGI Airport, New Delhi.
A handout stated that this exhibition brings together some of the most prominent figures in South Asian art scene, including Suman Gupta, among others. The show features a diverse range of iconic works that explore themes of mysticism, memory and the human experience.
Suman Gupta is a celebrated magic realist known for his captivating and thought-provoking artworks. His unique style blends elements of realism and fantasy, inviting viewers to contemplate the intricacies of human experience.
His latest series is inspired by the stories of hills and river dwellers, reflecting his deep reverence for the natural world and its inhabitants.
His artworks elevate the mundane to the divine, creating serene and harmonious visuals that underscore the profound connection between nature and spirituality.
The exhibition will be there till February 20, 2025.
