LEH, Jan 17: Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson today met with the Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju.
During the meeting, CEC discussed his recent visit to several Buddhist Institutes in Mundgod, Bylakuppe, Hunsur and Mysore in Karnataka.
Gyalson briefed the Minister on the challenges these institutes face, particularly the need for comprehensive welfare schemes to support monks.
Kiren Rijiju listened attentively to the issues raised by the CEC and assured his full support in addressing them.
