JAMMU, Jan 17: A 17-member team consisting of 15 judokas and 2 officials left today to participate in the Cadet National Judo Championship 2024, which will be held in Maharashtra. The team includes talented judokas from Jammu and Kashmir, who have been selected to represent the region in the prestigious national event.
The judokas travelling to Maharashtra are Amrit Gupta, Varun Kumar, Ansh Kohli, Bhawani Partap, Aham Parihar, Krishna Samotra, Rudra Manhas, Zayin Dobriyal, Sana Sharma, Muskan Bilal, Shabnam Begum, Syed un Nisa, Anjum Akhter, Zainab Binti and Ikshita Midtada.
Accompanying the team as officials are Rahil and Vikas Gupta. The judokas were flagged off by Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager of Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium Jammu, along with Suraj Sharma, General Secretary of the J&K Judo Association.
