MENDHAR, Jan 16 : Residents of Kasbaladi in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district held a protest demonstration today demanding the early completion of an unfinished bridge by the Public Works Department (PWD).
The villagers assembled here and started protest demonstration during the day. They were raising slogans against the PWD and concerned administration.
They alleged that the absence of sidewalls of the bridge has made vehicular movement impossible, causing major disruptions in their daily lives.
Protesters appealed to the authorities to expedite the construction to ease their commuting woes.
In response, SDM Mendhar Imran Rashid assured that the issue would be addressed with the concerned department, promising necessary action soon.
