3 women among 4 held with heroin, weapons

JAMMU, Dec 5: Four notorious drug peddlers, including three women, were arrested with 40.5 grams of heroin in Bishnah area today.
Some sharp-edged weapons were also recovered from their possession.

A police official said that Parveen Kumar alias Pinna, Rekha Kumar alias Kajal, Jyoti Bala alias Ramta and Rashmi Langeh, all residents of village Chorli, Bishnah, were apprehended with the consignment and weapons while they were targeting innocent youth in Bishnah.
Accordingly, all of them have been booked in case FIR number 203/2024 under the relevant Sections of the law registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation taken up, he said.
The arrests and seizure were made by a team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Sushil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and SP Headquarters IH Rather.
