Teacher remanded to police custody in 12th Class paper scam

JAMMU, Apr 28: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu, Puneet Gupta today granted six days police remand of a teacher namely Shushant Sharma, son of Ram Nath Sharma of Adarsh Vihar, who was arrested by the RS Pura police in the much publicized 12th class paper scam.
SI Sukhvinder Singh produced the accused in the court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Puneet Gupta, who after going through the CD file, observed that the accused was arrested in FIR No 49/2014 registered with Police Station R S Pura for commission of offences under Section 5(2) PC Act read with Section 409/109/120-B RPC, 5 UFME Act.
Accordingly, the Court granted six days police remand of the accused.
