UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: A motorcyclist died and his pillion rider was critically injured in a road accident while a boy was hit by a seeding truck in another mishap, here today.
A motorcyclist died and his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when a tipper hit their bike near Dhiari, Ramnagar. The deceased was identified as Shahil Singh, son of Madan Singh of Dhiari Ramnagar while the injured Amit Sharma son of Rajinder Kumar of Thaplal was undergoing treatment at GMC Hospital Jammu.
According to the police report, a Tipper with Registration number JK02AF-8795 collided with Motorcycle JK14C-8735 near Dhiari Ram Nagar in Udhampur. Police shifted the injured to Ramnagar Hospital where doctors referred them to GMC Jammu hospital. However, Sahil Singh succumbed to his injuries on way to GMC Jammu.
In another road accident, a Truck bearing registration number JK02AK-1317 hit a boy at Ambedkar Chowk area in Udhampur. People took the injured to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured was identified as Rochak Sharma (14) son of Suresh Kumar of Bharat Nagar Jakhani Udhampur.
