Ramban, Apr 14: Senior vice president Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today said that formation of strong and stable Government at Centre is inevitable to keep India integrated and shining in global perspective.
He said that there are serious challenges ahead which can only be tackled by the Congress.
He said that Congress is the only party which can provide strong and result oriented Government at the Centre by cementing ties with its secular allies.
“Whenever any other party including BJP got a chance to rule the country, uncertainty and instability prevailed in the country which resulted in total chaos and confusion and resultantly hampered implementation of developmental programmes”, he added.
He was addressing public meetings in Chachahal, Sumber, Dingdoll, and Patheli in Banihal and Ramban constituencies.
Vakil described the brief tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s as Chief Minister of J&K as a golden and unforgettable era.
He added that Ghulam Nabi Azad being a selfless leader believes in peace and prosperity and there exists no example which can be cited from the history of state politics where such multiple contributions have been made by anyone in this shortest duration.
Addressing the gathering Minister of State for Technical Education (I/C) and Power Vikar Rasool Wani said Congress believes in equality, development and prosperity and never discriminates people on the basis of cast, creed, region or religion.
Addressing the gathering MLA Ramban Ashok Kumar urged people to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad to ensure overall development of J&K snd strengthen secular forces.
