Purchasing critical equipment

Sir,
The brand new ventilators purchased for  the GMC   Hospital have been reported to be of either low standards or  all the five of them recently purchased have failed in their maiden test.
May be the technical know how to operate these devices purchased with the public money  is not available at the hospital resulting in the end use getting grossly affected.  It is also reported that this is not the first instance of its kind. It is requested that the concerned authorities may please take note of this lacuna in the purchases and maintenance wing of the hospital in the interests of the patients.
