JAMMU, Apr 9: State BJP has expelled Arif Majid Pampori, State secretary BJYM and its nominee from Srinagar-Budgam Parliamentary Constituency, from the primary membership of the party for 6 years for his anti-party activities in Srinagar.
This was stated by party general secretary, Bali Bhagat in a statement issued here today. He said the party has taken the decision to expel Mr Pampori from its primary membership following his indulgence in anti-party activities in the Valley.
BJP had earlier nominated Arif Majid Pampori as its candidate from Srinagar Parliam-entary constituency. Bali Bhagat said party has fielded another candidate Fayaz Ahmed Bhat from Srinagar Parliamentary constituency. Meanwhile Fayaz Ahmed Bhat also filed his nomination paper today at Srinagar before the Returning Officer.
