JAMMU, Apr 8: Led by its president, Tulsi Dass Langeh, candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency and senior leader Rattan Kumar Bhagat, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) took out a road show from Kunjwani, here today.
The road show, which was started from Kunjwani, passed through several places such as Sehora, Asmailpur, Gazia, Miran Sahib, Chatha, Bhour Camp, Barjala, Tawi I-land upto Makwal. Later, the BSP leaders also toured Bahu Fort and Channi Rama areas.
During the road show, the BSP leaders were given the warm reception at almost all the places.
Addressing the people, the BSP leaders—Tulsi Dass Langeh and Ashok Bhagat attacked both Congress and BJP, saying both the parties are provoking the people on the basis of religious ideologies and are dividing the country.
The people of the country need education, infrastructure, water supply, health facilities and employment, which the Congress has failed to provide, despite ruling the country for more than 65 years, they said.
They urged the people to shun divisive forces, which want to destabilize the peace and prosperity of the nation for their meager interests.
Maintaining that BSP is the only party which is more familiar with the problems of the people and has the capacity to redress them, the BSP leader, Tulsi Dass langeh appealed the people to vote for their candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Ashok Bhagat.
