JAMMU, Mar 28: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of the State level committee to suggest adequate/accurate system of collection and scientific compilation and reconciliation of the data on production, productivity and seed replacement rate of major crops in J&K.
According to an order issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Administrative Secretary, Planning and Development Department will be Chairman of the committee, whereas Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Kashmir/ Jammu, Administrative Secretary, Agric-ulture Production Department, Divisional Commi-ssioner, Jammu / Kashmir, Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department, Administrative Secretary, Horticulture Department, Director General, Economics and Statistics J&K, Director Agriculture, Kashmir/ Jammu and Director Horticulture, Kashmir/Jammu.
