SRINAGAR, Mar 24: Residents of Qamarwari area today staged protests against the Srinagar Municipal Committee (SMC) for failing to drain the water-logged colonies in the area.
The protesters blocked the the Tengpora- Batamallo Bypass road and disrupted traffic for hours.
Contesting the claims of authorities regarding the water logging in Srinagar, the residents said that their colonies are still submerged and the authorities are not taking any effective steps for it.
