JAMMU, Mar 21: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has set up a control room at the party headquarters at Shahidi Chowk here in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections in the State.
The PCC president (MP), Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz inaugurated the control room/ election cell at the part office Shahidi Chowk in Jammu. A large number of party leaders were present on the occasion. He asked the party functionaries, associated with the control room to take upon the responsibilities to remain in touch with the party units at all levels for better coordination and management of election campaign.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Th Hari Singh, Janak Raj Gupta, Ravinder Sharma, Vinod Mishra, Maheshwar Singh, Manmohan Singh, Lal Mohd Sabir, Farooq Andrabi and Gurbachan Kumari Rana.
Those who have been assigned control room duty are- Gurdarshan Singh (Chairman), Ashwani Puri, Rajiv Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Ravi Singh Slathia, Sanjay Sawhney, Uttam Singh, Manjeet Singh Bedi, Amit Chib, Sanjeev Sharma, V K Sethi, Anil Kohli, Prabha Slathia, Suman Choudhary and Bandana.
