JAMMU, Mar 19: Minister for Planning and Development Ajay Kumar Sadhotra appealed common masses to supplement Govt’s efforts of ensuring overall growth of the State.
He said this while addressing public meetings at Jaswan, Kahnachak, Nai Basti and Galwadheychak.
Sadhotra while making scathing attack on BJP said that it has failed to deliver as Opposition party and has betrayed the confidence of the people of Jammu and now in order to cover up their failures they are misguiding people of State for petty political gains.
He said people of State especially Jammu have a bitter experience of BJP’s role during Amarnath land row resulting in hatred between Jammu/Kashmir region and putting people of the State to great loss and biggest ever set back to developmental activities in the State.
Minister appealed the people of Jammu to frustrate the evil designs of BJP.
He said Coalition Government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to equal development of three regions.
Sadhotra cautioned people against the political organisations, who are bent upon to divide the people on religious, caste and regional lines.
He particularly targeted BJP and said that the party should come out with a paper to show what it has done for the people of the State as Opposition, especially Jammu, since last 5 years.
Sadhotra said people of Jammu feel totally betrayed and ditched by the BJP.
He asked the people not to get misled by the BJP’s crocodile tears and appealed them to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah to ensure overall growth of the State.
Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent people of Kahnachak and adjoining areas apprised Minister of their grievances and demands.
Minister assured them that he will take up their demands with the concerned authorities for redressal.
