JAMMU, Mar 18: One pedestrian was arrested and 37 pouches recovered from his possession at Jaswan, falling under the jurisdiction of Kahna Chak Police Station, today.
According to police, in a surprise naka at Jaswan one pedestrian was namely Ravi Kumar son of Ashok Kumar resident of Jaswan was intercepted. On his personal search, police recovered 37 pouches of Excise liquor from his possession which he was carrying illegally.
The accused was arrested by the Police. In this regard a case FIR Number 37/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kahna Chak and investigation is going on.
