JAMMU, Ma 15: The residents of Mohalla Krishna Nagar (Jammu) have expressed serious concern over dilapidated lanes and choked nullah running through the Mohalla.
In a meeting held here today, the residents of the Mohalla discussed the problems being faced by them on account worst condition of lanes and choked nullah.
The meeting strongly objected to the alleged construction work being executed by the JMC over a building within Children’s Park to accommodate an outsider and urged the Minister for Urban Development and Local Bodies, Nawang Rigzin Zora to look into the matter and direct the Jammu Municipal Corporation authorities to get the nullah cleaned and lanes repaired at the earliest.
The meeting also invited the kind attention of the Planning and Development Minister, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, towards the memorandum submitted to him by the residents and urged him to take an early action in the matter.
