SAMBA, Mar 10: In its continuous drive against the illegal trafficking of bovine animals, Police Party of Police Post Supwal headed by SI Khalil Ahmed, Incharge PP Supwal under the supervision of Vijay Pal Singh, DySP HQ Samba intercepted and seized a vehicle Mahindra-207 bearing Registration No. JK08C-9507 during Naka checking on NHW at Samba Chowk.
The vehicle was found loaded with five bovine animals which were being transported illegally without permission. Accordingly case under FIR No. 42/2014 u/s 188 RPC, 2/3 PC Act was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation carried on.
Another Police Party of P/S Vijaypur headed by SI Ajay Singh, SHO P/S Vijaypur under the supervision of Shamsher Singh, DySP SDPO Vijaypur also intercepted/seized Tata Mobile bearing Registration No. JK02AS-5185 during Naka checking at Vijaypur-Ramgarh Road and arrested accused driver namely Farid Ali S/o Mushtaq Ahmed R/o Ragoora Sidhra Jammu. The vehicle was also found loaded with five bovine animals which were being transported illegally without permission. Accordingly case under FIR No. 39/2014 u/s 188 RPC, 2/3 PC Act was registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation carried on.
