POONCH, Mar 21: The movement of traffic was suspended for over an hour after a landslide hit Chandak-Mandi road today.
Official sources said that the heavy boulders came down in the middle of road near Chakrara village, causing massive blockade. The movement of traffic came to halt with the road blockade. The R&B authorities pressed their men and machinery on road clearance operation.
The Traffic Police officials and local police from Sathra PP also reached spot. Using JCB Machine the road was cleared after some time. The road was cleared at around 3 pm, an official said.
