JAMMU, Feb 4: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of its president Ashok Gupta took out a procession in Jammu city by holding empty utensils on their shoulders and empty bottles in their hands against the non availability of ration in the city.
The protestors accused the CAPD of selling the ration in black which has caused problems to the consumers.
They said that the inflation is at peak and the people are unable to bear the burden of inflation and the economy seems to have stagnated while the Government has also failed to check the rampant corruption.
Addressing the protestors Ashok Gupta said the Food Security Bill has been passed by the Centre to provide rice, flour, pulses and sugar to the poor people at very cheap rates so that they will not starve for the food but contrary to it CAPD Department in J&K is not supplying ration to the people which shows its callousness towards them.
